[edit] What's the joke?

Okay, what's the specific running gag here? A page that simply lists instances of the word times (most of which are either perfectly grammatical or nearly so) is not worthy of inclusion. — It's dot com 22:19, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

I agree. There's nothing particularly unusual about these usages. - 23:54, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
I just noticed this. I agree too, there's nothing really special about the word itself. It's used in odd places because of the jokes going on there at the "times", not actually because of anything intrinsic to the word itself. — Defender1031*Talk 18:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
Nothing special about the word Times here. Delete. The Chort 16:56, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
And yet it misses both of the "do you have the times" jokes. For shame. Deleted. Bed, bath and be-yond. --Jay v.2022 (Auld lang syne) 17:01, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Diggity. This is more so plural instead of singular, already a page. What's more, the intro sucks. A lot. --Jellote 21:11, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
I add my support for delete, fully agreeing with.. well.. 100% of the rest that have commented here. OptimisticFool 01:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I have no reason to say why this should be deleted that has not already been mentioned by another user, so I just will say to delete. Homestar-Winner (talk) 02:59, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I think this article should stay. The five uses here are unique enough for this to be a word running gag. Right now I'm also wondering if the Scrolling Shooter Menu caption for Secret Collect "A flashing maze to create many times!", counts. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:14, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
On reflection, I now realise that the word Times is a ligitimate word running gag as it comes up enough times to be considered as one. However, it still seems to be an extention of plural instead of singular and, like O' Dems before it, this article should be merged with that article, perhaps with a subsection if necessary. – The Chort 16:30, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
I think that if we keep style, then times should stay as well. K33p. Er, Keep.

Since this word has cropped again, perhaps it's times to reconsider if this is a running gag or not. wbwolf (t | ed) 02:05, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Conversation needs to rise on this article whether it's needed or not. It's been much longer than a year since Dot com opposed it and added the {{tbd}} in the first place, so I say that either we need to come to a consensus or just plain delete it. Personally, I don't care either way about its existence, but I think the gag is enough to retain its status as a breathing article. It's a tough choice, but I'm ultimately voting keep. I think we might need to crop this discussion back up, but it seems to me like it's more sided towards deletion than anything. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 22:05, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
I think the fact that "times" is consistently used in odd ways, often as a plural instead of singular, makes this more notable than when i originally commented here. I say keep now. — Defender1031*Talk 04:59, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
