[edit] Alright, All Right
When I wrote the transcript I wrote the word "Alright". However, The Knights Who Say Ni not only says "Ni", but also "All Right", which makes me feel wrong and itchy. So I decided to revert to prevent removing my skin via my nails and decided to take this here, the talk page. And since I have been so adamant about voting, I decided to put a vote down there. --J∃ffJMan 11:34, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
[edit] Vote, Is it Alright, or All Right?
A quick preface before the legit voting, although All right is the accepted "grammatical" spelling, Alright is more Strong Bad. See "Tonite is Alright 4 Tonite" or how he types it in every sbemail that he says it, as he seems to be a pretty frequent user of this word. Seems "alright" should be his catchphrase, not "Holy Crap". Since I committed slander against you, Knights, I expect you to vote. If not, I've put a placeholder representing you, as I already know your opinion.
ALL RIGHT: KnightsWhoSayNi
- It’s only “alright” if he types it that way: http://www.hrwiki.org/wiki/HRWiki:Manual_of_Style#Special_cases (unless the standard changes)-113.37.226.89 12:11, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- Alright, fine. I was looking in Hrwiki:Standards, I didn't know it would be in Manual of style. The transcript cleanup tag was a bit harsh --J∃ffJMan

- and now we have it back. Okay. Am I wrong to be offended by the cleanup tag? I know I have "he hits a steak into the cow, making a slashy-hatched slight taste of udder appear" and like, other "weird, not formal transcript" bits like "he gets bored" and stuff. But, I feel offended because I spent the better half of my morning on the transcript and kind of feel this personal attachment to it! --J∃ffJMan

- Don't take things so personally. Wikis are intended as collaborative. --Jaycemberween (Ho ho ho!) 21:46, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

[edit] It's been long enough, what is wrong with it?
I am trying not to take this personally, but why do you think the that is that the cartoon transcript still sucky? --J∃ffJMan 16:39, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
- "Why do you think the that is that the cartoon transcript still sucky?" Well, to begin, that question could be phrased with better syntax. Such as, "Why do you think that the cartoon transcript still sucks?" That's much more readable.
- Without being asked, I repaired the transcript to increase its readability. I wish I could teach the secrets of writing with clarity. However, beyond the lessons taught in Strong Bad's Rhythm N' Grammar, writing well is a matter of reading and practicing. You've got to use complete sentences, except for stage directions within the dialogue. You've got to know where to put dialogue breaks, and use your gut to decide what to put in and what to leave out. Feel free to read what I've written and see where improvements have been made. -- 68.37.43.131 23:19, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
