*The misspelling of "prooty" when Lappy 486 says "pretty" is a reference to old speech synthesizers like [[Wikipedia:Software Automatic Mouth|Software Automated Mouth]] that forced the user to use phonetic spelling to make the words come out right.

*This is the first time the new design of Strong Bad's stool appears. The old one just showed two legs and looked two-dimensional while the new design shows all four legs for a more 3D look.

The spelling also resembles the way French actually pronounce ''Monsieur'', which Strong Bad imitates.
