*This toon followed the birth of [[Mike Chapman]]'s daughter, [[Very, Very Little Girl]], in the late spring/early summer of 2006, during which time the site went nearly seven weeks (48 days) without a major update, the longest hiatus on record. There were various minor updates during this period, but no toons.
*"Toot sweet" is a play on the French phrase ''"tout de suite"'' (which translates to "immediately" or "at once"). Both phrases are pronounced roughly the same.
