== Regarding spoilers ==

This Wiki is an information site that does not concern itself with spoilers. I mean, we give the entire transcript of every Homestar cartoon to date, bar none. Thus, nobody cares if the Witches' Brew page says that "Homestar" was really Strong Bad during most of Pumpkin Carve-nival. If you're trying to avoid spoilers, watch the 'toons BEFORE visiting the Wiki. --[[User:Jay|Jay]] 22:01, 23 Jan 2005 (MST)

Can we at least have a [[Wikipedia:Template:Spoiler|warning template]] for these kind of spoilers? --Trogga 13:32, 30 Jan 2005 (MST)

:Nope.  As Jay noted, the whole Wiki is pretty much one big spoiler.  In fact we say on our [[HRWiki:About|about page]], "Welcome to the best place to learn everything about the cartoons (and just about anything else) on [http://www.homestarrunner.com HomestarRunner.com]."[[User:Tom|<nowiki></nowiki>]]  --  [[User:Tom|Tom]] 19:48, 30 Jan 2005 (MST)

Yet I don't see anything saying, "This Wiki may spoilers". What wrong my idea [for the template]? --Trogga 12:49, 3 Feb 2005 (MST)

This discussion may be 2 months, but like it or not, I'm going to make a spoiler template. We may have transcripts for all the toons, but what if someone who hasn't seen Pumpkin Carve-nival or its transcript, just saw the Witches' Brew page? Got a problem with that? Good; ''that's what these talk pages are for.'' --Trogga 17:50, 31 Mar 2005 (MST)

== Deleting Links ==
+
-
*I was just wondering, why are you deleting Wikipedia links like the ones to Elton John and Nickelodeon? I don't see a problem with them. [[User:Homestar Coder|Aurora Szalinski]] 20:59, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)

*Not everything needs a reference. For example, everybody knows who the Beatles are.  --Trogga 21:37, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)

-
* (blushes) I don't... --[[User:flashstorm|flashstorm]] 21:42, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)
+
-
* There are two arguments against that: 1) You don't necessarily know what "everybody" knows. People from around the world could read this site. 2) The link is useful if someone wants more information about something. Even if someone knows who the Beatles are, they might be interested in reading the article. [[User:Homestar Coder|Aurora Szalinski]] 21:45, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)

-
*They could just Google it, but good point. --Trogga 21:50, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)
+
-
*True, they could just Google it. I don't think some of the links are *necessary*, I just don't think they're bad... [[User:Homestar Coder|Aurora Szalinski]] 22:00, 10 Mar 2005 (MST)

==Deleting cast information in main pages==
+
-
Just because they don't appear in strict order is not a very good reason to get rid of the cast lists from main pages. The cast still appears in them and the main pages appear in filmographies, so the main pages should have cast lists. Could you please not delete them? We could just link the characters in the button descriptions. --[[User:Trogga|Trogga]] 17:32, 29 Mar 2005 (MST)

We could, but a cast list is neater, and conforms to the standard of all the other pages on the site. [[User:Homestar Coder|Aurora Szalinski]] 17:49, 29 Mar 2005 (MST)

Why did you [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=12:00&curid=928&diff=60784&oldid=60773 remove] the "You Can't Do That On Television!" fun fact from [[12:00]]?
