A little Bio-ness

Okay hola everybody! I'm Chrissy and I'm a HUGE h*r fan. I won the prestigious Homestar Runner Fan Trivia Champeenship one year in a row on the meaning on the meaning of Lemke! Take that meatball... face... butt! Erm, anyway. I just signed up because I'd really like to help the Wiki out. I've made a few changes here and there but I've been quite intimidated. I guess I'm a WikiGnome, but I'd like to make bigger changes. My proudest accomplishment is finishing up the second R!ot interview's transcript. I was also the SECOND person to join the Recent Changes Patrol-y thingy. That's what I do most of the time around here. I sit and patrol all the recent changes. It's very boring, but important! I've discovered probably 10, 20 trolls, but since my computer is weird about making edits, I've never reverted one. I just not patrol it and hope someone cares about that little red !.

I discovered homestarrunner.com in October 2004. My step cousin (a college student obviously) introduced me to it, starting with the email dragon and continuing on from there. I was hooked. In one weekend I watched everything on the entire site. Technically, the first thing I ever saw was guitar when it was the newest email. It was in somebody's profile (I don't even know who). I watched it without sound and thought it was really weird and really long. If only I had stuck around the site...

I have a humble little email show thing on the Fanstuff Wiki. You can read all my fabulousness right about heeeere. Can't get enough? Read my blog, which is much more interesting/popular than that email thing. It's currently ranked 4th on Google for the phrase "homestar fandom". Incidentally, this mention of the phrase makes this site the number 1 rank. Mini-warning here: there’s some major language and innuendo so prepare yourself. Oh yeah, one more link would be my small board. It was originally an asoue site, then a "me and my friends just hanging out" site, and now basically devoted to Homestar with a little just hanging out still in it. Ch- ch- check out! Plus it has skins for almost all the Homestar characters and it uses my ubercool smilies.

Matt Chapman

So... freakin... hot!

Matt Chapman is... everything. He's the almighty, he's 42, he's perfect. I am absolutely obsessed with Him. I cried when I found out he was married. Yeah, thanks people of Wiki for showing me that horrible little fun fact on the Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer page. *mockingly* Jackie Chapman is Matt Chapman's wife. Well aren't you so special for knowing that and NOT TELLING ME UNTIL I FALL INTO DEEP LOVE WITH HIM. *deep breath* Okay, okay, I'm all right. I guess the Wiki has helped me in this category though since I don't have the DVD I wouldn't know that his birthday is November 1st. Wish anybody knew what year he was born in, but I can deal with that. I'm sending a birthday card to his house. Let's hope he doesn't freak out and move or something. He didn't when I called him, so I'll guess it'll be fine.

Yep, I'm that girl who makes the little smilies on the forum. Heard of me? Huh, huh? You haven't? You should have. I used to make some AWESOME buddy icons too... but it's been awhile since I made my last one. Guess I lost my inspiration/friends to make buddy icons for. Anyway, as far as emoticons go, I've done Strong Sad and Homestar ones. MORE TO COME!

Firefox

I've heard of Firefox before, but I always viewed it as something like Linux. A better alternate to anything Microsoft made, but only used by hackers (as in people who can code like nobody's bubsness, not the way 1337ers use the word). Well the Wiki was down and I was very, very bored so I decided to read Joey Day's (aka the ruler of the wiki) blog. Now I've seen the little "The HRWiki supports Mozilla Firefox" thing on the wiki, but I've never thought much of it. But right then I was very bored, so I followed the link on Joey's blog and decided what the heck! I'll get myself some Firefox. I've never missed that insignificant blue e on my desktop yet! It seriously can't get any better than Firefox. My computer has horrible problems with adware and it has solved everything. No pop ups and I got this extension called Adblock which allows you to simply right click on an ad and block it. You know those annoying google ads that are on EVERY website? One click and you never have to see one again! I don't know how I lived before it. I've always had a beef with Microsoft (my old tech teacher was mad at me once so he doctored up a picture of me so it would say "I love Microsoft!"), but I stayed with it because... that's what everybody does. That's the stupidest thing to do EVER. Stop being anti-Microsoft hippies and actually DO something. Get yourself some Firefox goodness. It's like Internet Explorer, but safer, easier, and just... plain cooler. Seriously, just try it for yourself. On DIAL UP it's only a 2 minute download. Took like 20 seconds on my crappy DSL. You'll love it. Promise.

I would just like to say that I don't consider it "buying stuff from the store." It is paying my tithe to the gods of Homestar and in turn receiving gifts not worthy of my mortal prowess. Anyway, here's the stuff I have:
