When I heard the "future jam" I assumed Strong Bad used the "grumblecake theme" on purpose, then distorted it and went into the tune proper. You hear stuff like that all the time.

"Froosh"
+

+
-
Okay, I added the following to the Remarks section a few days ago:
+
-

+
-
The sound made when Stinkoman opens the time capsule is a recycle of Strong Bad saying "Froosh" from only seconds before, and therefore Strong Bad perfectly predicted the sound that would be produced on opening the capsule.
+
-

+
-
It was removed by Lapper, who said it belonged in Sound Effects, so that's where I put it.  It was then removed from there by The Chort, who said it wasn't relevant for that page.  So now I've put it back here again, where it probably beonged in the first place.

Sam the Concorder
+
-

This probably is not worth mentioning in the main article, because it really doesn't like Strong Bad actually says this, but the way "sam concord california" is written, and the way SB reads it, it almost sounds like Sam conquered California.  He just marched right in and told Arnold to get out!  "We don't need no bodybuildin' robots running this town!"

:I've actually thought that myself, and wondered too about if it needed a note. Yopu've saved me a great deal of debate. =3 --DorianGray 03:52, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Viscosity
+
-
Anyone think that "with the viscosity" could be a reference to Black Sheep's song "Strobelite Honey"?  It's a stretch for sure, but it wouldn't be the first time Strong Bad has quoted a hip-hop lyric (compare "so fresh and so clean, clean" in spring cleaning), and I can't think why else anyone other than a chemist would say "with the viscosity."  (I don't know what Black Sheep meant by it either.)
+
-
: My thoughts exactly.  I think Black Sheep might have meant "velocity"...?

In the Bay Area, it's pronounced conk-erd. 198.6.14.254 18:58, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

:Homestar's pronunciation of "Luh-BOR-uh-tor-ee" is a reference to the cartoon series Dexter's Laboratory.
+

+

Okay, this stupid "fact" has somehow survived for several months; let's get rid of it, shall we?  There is no contextual reason to support the assumption that this is a reference to Dexter's Laboratory, and no one call tell me that the pronunciation "la-BOR-atory" didn't exist before Dexter.  02:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

I think this fact is on very shaky ground. 04:05, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

"If we are to assume that X0 years had passed from the email by the time Stinkoman opened the capsule, then the year he opened it in would be 20X5, not 20X6." That seems like it should go under the Remarks section or something. The only reason I'm not putting it there yet is because I'm afraid the change will get deleted if I don't ask permission. 00:11, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

:That's a bit nitpicky. When people say that the dinosaurs roamed the earth 00 Billion years ago, are you gonna tell them "no, it's actually 200 billion, 187 million, 522 thousand..."? it's silly. 03:10, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

::I was only saying this would make sense if we were to ASSUME that Stinkoman opens the capsule X0 years from the email. But I get your point. 21:57, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

::DeFender: It's especially silly when you consider the fact that every relevant scientist agrees that Earth is only a few billion years old; nowhere near 200! ;) I'm just being difficult; I know what you meant. -- 22:10, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
