:::::::No, I think that the first statement seems about right. Maybe SS is the youngest (main) character (Appart from The Cheat, maybe), and so that's why SB talked to him? I reckon that with all this evidence, the age ranges may be true. Perhaps it could be written somewhere as "It is suggested that..."? You know, like the left-hand, right-hand, and ambidextrous info. :::::::The Great Depression couldn't do ''anything'' to Abraham Lincoln, as he had been dead for over sixty years at the time the Great Depression began. This sentence isn't going to make sense at all; it's just a parody on all the stories old people tell. Thus, there's no reason to assume "caught" because "fought" doesn't make sense: no word will make sense here. {{User:Heimstern Läufer/sig}} 00:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC) | :::::::The Great Depression couldn't do ''anything'' to Abraham Lincoln, as he had been dead for over sixty years at the time the Great Depression began. ::::::::I've got my big old Webster's dictionary out, and one of the definitions of "get" is "to cause to come or go" or "to cause to be in a certain position or condition". So, with this definition, saying "the Depression got Abraham Lincoln naked" would grammatically be correct. I guess "fought" would be grammatically correct too, but to me, it doesn't make as much sense, as the Depression is not a millitary or some other type of force that usually fights. I still keep hearing fought, though. {{User:Has Matt?/sig}} 01:04, 29 January 2007 (UTC) | ::::::::I've got my big old Webster's dictionary out, and one of the definitions of "get" is "to cause to come or go" or "to cause to be in a certain position or condition". I used a decompiler, since the picture was all one image and it was convenient. So there's just a few small things visible that are normally under the border. What do you think? It struck me a little. I don't insist on it being a reference, but Talking Heads were around in the late 70's and the 80's, and TBC had Strong Sad dress as David Byrne before, so I wonder if they would pay homage? | What do you think?
