I had to manually change my encoding to UTF-8. There's an accented character in the title bar, and without a proper doctype declaration, some browsers get tripped up. 114.243.125.154 13:27, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I can't see either! Maybe it's cause I'm a different time-zone or something. It's pretty early here on the west coast.

I'm also getting 404'd. Furthermore, when I visit homestarrunner.com, there's no mention of a new e-mail on the main page, and the Strong Bad E-mails list is the Corpy Remote with 'imaginary' listed as the most recent. I wonder if this is related to the truncated quote of the day file some of us were getting. You can access the toon at http://69.59.23.70/sbemail203.swf if you can't access the site via http://homestarrunner.com. Wait...that gives me a bad hostname error...never mind. An IP address, in this case, is the other "name" of the website is. If you do the same thing with your hand, it looks pretty much like SS's hand. There's a crease at the base of the middle finger such that it could look detached, especially in animated form.146.122.71.68 17:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Softer Keypresses

Choosy users choose single references

"Evil Moms choose Evil Gif" is a play on the sentence "Choosy developers choose GIF", which itself is a play on Jif peanut butter tag line, "Choosy Moms choose Jif"). Choosy developers choose GIF is a rumored sentence that CompuServe Developers, who created the GIF format, said around the office.

Problem is, he says "Moms", not "Developers", which means it's actually closer to the original than the "developers" line (since he pronounces Gif the same way as "Jif"). I say either footnote the "developers" bit or nix it. --Jay (Talk) 16:45, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Short Answer, Long Answer

I also thought about it, and I think it should stay on the page, but somehow I have a feeling the the long NOOOO have earlier sources. I found this cartoon, but it doesn't have the source year. The Zero Punctuation came out on 17 September 2008, And the long answer joke is the first and most notable one in the video review. It's so exaggerated that it's repeated before the end credits. So, does anybody have a different, more TBC-style source for the joke, or are we going to claim "originality" here? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:42, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't think it should stay on. It's an old joke, and I don't think that something from 2008 should be sited as the original. I found a post on gamespot from Jan 2 2008 that used it and a Yahoo answer from 2 years ago that used it. I just think that citing that review as the source is ill informed unless TBC say they got it from there.--98.223.125.74 05:02, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Strongbad's "short answer/long answer" is pretty much exactly the same as a ZP video a while back for Spore:
