That would seem more appropriate for a 486, and the Cheat and Strong Bad do, after all, dabble in music. Is it just me, or did the scene with Strong Sad and Homestar take forever? I mean, they just stood at the table staring at each other for about 20 seconds (then Strong Sad finally said something) and then afterwards the word "resolution" hangs on the screen for about another 30 seconds. :Must just be you.  The "Resolution" screen lasts all of about 2 seconds, and the two didn't stare at each other for long, either.  Are you on dial-up, by any chance?  Flash allows the video to start before it's fully loaded, and if you got to that point and the scene hadn't been completely loaded yet, then it's going to pause until it does.  They were still blinking because the blinking animation is a "tween"--sort of like a seperate animation "thread" that repeats over and over. ~ [[User:Bruce|Bruce]] 16:11, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
::Yeah, this is something that occasionally happens when you're on dial-up or any other laggy/slow connection; the toon will freeze for a few seconds while waiting for the rest of it to load. During most of the spaceship scene, the green ground is slightly cut off on the left side of the screen, so that a strip of white is visible along the black edge of the frame.  Here's a picture in case I'm not making any sense (which... But this is hrwiki where nearly every pixel is examined, so let's amp this up.  Why the comma?  Why the less-than sign?  What is the significance to this?  Why not the tilde button?  Much more a "little toe."

Apparently this was disputed for some reason, but I think it's pretty obvious that SB's line, "so you say you want a resolution, huh?" is a reference to a famous line from the song "Revolution" by the Beatles. I'd just like to add to the discussion that the song "Revolution" was used in a well known Nike TV commercial in 1987, and that ad prominently used the chorus.  It was also the subject of much controversy (about whether John Lennon would have wanted his song used to sell sneakers), at least partially due to the fact that it was one of the first times that an original recording of a pop song was used in such a way.  (This is discussed in [[Wikipedia:Revolution (song)|the wikipedia entry on the song]].) == Easter Egg Sequence ==

Doesn't anybody else think that the two end easter eggs should be listed in the opposite order (Homestar/SB then Z/Bubs)?  Not only was the trigger for Homestar/SB physically above the other, Z/Bubs clearly refers back to it more easily than vice versa: the more awkward "accusing yourself of being the Thnikkaman" seems more a parody of "admitting that you stole my computer", and Homestar's "...sports team" is actually somewhat appropriate given its context (water cooler talk : sports) whereas it was a complete non sequitur when Coach Z said it. :I think there is a consensus emerging here. In truth, I actually edited the page to reverse the easter eggs before checking the discussion page to see that there was already talk on this issue. (Jay reversed me) I have never felt strongly enough to edit anything here before. As the story of this e-mail unfolds, Homestar first, then Coach Z makes WAY MORE SENSE. Not only do the links flow top to bottom, but the ransom note is the more obvious thing to click on and likely to be found first. Regardless of programming order, the easter eggs tell a story, and Homestar followed by Coach Z is the only logical way to tell that story. I strongly encourage the switching of the order. We're documenting the toon, not interpreting it. Therefore, we need to remain objective, and in the case of clickable points on a screen, what's more objective than reading order? -I almost switched this before I saw the note that said bring it to talk page.  Now I see this hasn't been in question for almost 10 months now, which is ridiculous.  I've felt strongly about it being Homestar, then Coach Z ever since I first saw the toon.  In fact, idk why i left it for this long. Here are some reasons why:
-*Everyone knows that mashing the tab key tells you where the clickable items are in the page.  And if you didn't, you do now.  Anyway, the exact order of tabbing is: the paper, the Homestar easter egg, the Coach Z easter egg, the go back link, with Homestar coming ''before'' Coach Z.
-*i agree with whoever said that "sports team" is more likely to be a water cooler conversation subject to talk about.  it looks to me like homestar was attempting to start talking about a sports team, since he actually does say he's making water cooler conversation, trying to sound up with the times, whereas coach z gives no reason why he might have said "sports team".  I also agree with the fact that Coach Z is more likely to talk about a sports team, but there is a big difference between saying two words out of context and to start talking about what the two words are about.  Like, if I'm talking about you and you catch me on something and I just randomly say "ballet practice" in response, just to make a different example than "sports team", that never means i started talking about ballet practice.  <s>It looked to me like Coach Z saying it was a reference to Homestar saying it</s> I guess either one could be a reference to the other, actually.
-*Also, it seems like Homestar's easter egg was like continuing the current story, which you're already up on your toes for, when Coach z's was going back a ways.  If Coach Z's comes first, then you would have to go back a ways twice instead of once.  If they show up at the same time, the easter eggs should be in order of how close they are to the subject of the easter egg.  As for order top to bottom, that's Homestar to coach z; and order left to right dne.

-:Wow would you look at that. A glitch in my flash player revealed the answer to me. It turns out the one i fought for in july of last year (yes i changed my name since then) is incorrect. I still think the wrong order is better though. My flash player is playing a couple seconds into the easter eggs in sequential order.
