What'll You Have?

Might I ask why my comment on "What'll Ya Have," which is perfectly true and almost surely reflects the intentions of the Brothers Chaps, was removed so quickly? -Nathaniel

NP. It's a common phrase. If it were not, then you'd have a possible connection there, but as they say that all over the place, it's unlikely. I understand where you're coming from, however, as an Atlanta native for the past three years, I know it's almost completely likely that's what the Brothers were referring to. Take a quick look at The Varsity's website and listen to the background sounds, which are based on the ambiance of the place. You'll hear them uttering it, as it's definitely their catchphrase there. "What'll Ya Have" is even the title of a book of the history of this historic Atlanta restaurant. - Nathaniel

It's possible. I don't doubt it might even be probable. But for me (and, it seems, the user who reverted the edit) that's not enough. The fact that, even though it might be their catchphrase, it's used all over the place too makes it less "fact"like. If you weant to get a username and log in, you can do what we call "STUFF" meaning a debatable fact is voted on by a lot of people, arguments for and against are raised, etc. This is an old one, though, but a STUFF could be called for if you're sure. - Qermaq - (^T/C)  21:39, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
