The Municipality is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute. |

[edit] Deletion of "Poopertrooper" Archive
Not enough info to justify an article. — It's dot com 19:57, 24 May 2006 (UTC)
- Have marchendise related to it. Can justify an article. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 03:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- I would vote to keep, he’s given a name in store and sketchbook, is part of merchandise, downloads, SBEmail, and Sketchbook feature. I think we could add more information about uniform, role, and appearances, but I think this is a deserving page. - Ilko Skevüld's Teh C
- I think we should remove the "The Municipality" section from Free Country, USA, make it a seperate article, and merge this into it. :/ —FireBird|Talk 17:47, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreeing with FireBird now. That information need to go somewhere. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 03:50, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- I agree.--H*bad 04:01, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
- Seems like a pretty good idea to me. --Magnus Von Grapple 19:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- I added some more stuff. --Da M-izz-uTizzalk 21:21, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- I think we should merge this with the Popsmith's page, or make this a chacter variation. Either way, i think we should keep it. Sbmaniac
[edit] 1984
Blaring similarity to 1984, anyone? I don't know how to phrase it, but if someone could... — 207.181.15.218 (Talk | contribs) 01:48, 23 May 2007 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- It's currently listed as a reference to Nineteen Eighty-Four at disconnected#Real-World References. — Has Matt? (talk) 01:51, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pooper Trooper Reference
I think that the word "Pooper Trooper" is a reference to Koopa Troopa one of the turtle-like enemies in the SMB Series of games.
Nintendo is a constantly recurring theme, and this would lend credence to that.--Saxon the Deutschmaster 20:46, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Storm trooper?
I think Pooper troopers could be a referance to Storm troopers{From star wars}.They both wear helmets, they both have a breathing device on their helmets, they both work for a evil goverment, both of them have trooper as the second part of their name and all pooper troopers look the same, just like all storm troopers look the same.-Userphoinexunknown from the fanstuff wiki.
That, or, you know, Hitler's stormtroopers who wore gray. Stormtrooper is just a general term for dystopian soldiers, though the star wars example comes out most clearly. Mesmerickiwi
