| This page would be much better if it was organized somehow. It's a pain having to hunt through every response to see if something is added or not. I'm thinking alphabetically, with bullets for each response. Any thoughts? Crystallina 04:52, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC) | | This page would be much better if it was organized somehow. - | When I noted this on the article, I censored it as a potentially temporary measure until we could discuss it. (Our swears policy was still over a year from being written.) It was recently , citing our swears policy, but I don't think the policy says it must be censored, and in fact might say that it shouldn't be. It's kind of a gray area because it's sort-of an Easter egg, but nevertheless it's something generated by the Chaps on the official site. — It's dot com 17:26, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

- | :The Swears policy says that we should follow "The Brothers Chaps' own self-censorship with regard to what kind of material they produce". The way I see it in this case (and the reason why it's a gray area) is that it's one of those things that you find if you know what you're looking for. The objectionable content isn't overtly displayed anywhere on the screen but is rather programmed as a respone to use entry. I think the wiki should at least try to follow a similar process: in this case keeping the swear in the source code to me seems adequate, though I thought there was a template that only displayed the word on the tooltip along with a warning? --Stux 17:40, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

| |
- | All of the "Helpful hints" are actually things that prevent you from doing certain things (I would, in fact, rename the heading, though to what I don't know). "Look X" is not preventing you from doing anything, and half of the "Look X" commands are hints (some more than others). Thus, I see no reason "Look Kerrek" should be in "Helpful hints". -- 21:16, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
