I just cleared out a bunch of examples that did not fit the page's description - not a single one was for a long overdescriptive name! The most arguable one would be [[The Homestar Runner Gets Something Stuck in his Craw]]/"Strong Sad Wets Yonder Bed" - both are actual names, unlike everything else I removed, but the latter isn't all that long and neither is particularly overdescriptive. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 23:46, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

How about exactly what is said in the description- "Unusually Long Names" or alternatively something like "Overdescriptive Titles". {{User:Broncotroll/sig}} 02:41, 13 March 2013 (UTC)

Is that even possible? Because "As Seen on TV Low-Fat Cooking Device" is also a non-descript noun, considering it is just as descriptive as "That Paintball Place Down the Street", except the latter is one word shorter. {{User:Broncotroll/sig}} 05:16, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

Maybe The Cheat was going to make this longer, but I'm not sure it fits among the other examples here. Just because Strong Bad thinks it's too long (Clanky) doesn't mean it's overdescriptive. Thoughts? --{{User:Jay/sig}} 05:06, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

:It's long, but not necessarily overdescriptive. Strong Bad is the owner, Strong Badia is the place, and pizza is the food, so none of it is unnecessary. It's like if there was restaurant called, say, Homestar's American Burgers. {{User:Gfdgsgxgzgdrc/sig‎}} 05:29, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit] Good Prize

So before anyone goes tbd'ing this because of its appearance and current lack of content, let me just say that i think this will make a fine page. I don't remember specific instances, but i know there are plenty of times where this is true, and it makes a great sibling to the Nondescript Nouns page. good prize! ding! — Defender1031*Talk 19:53, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. I could've sworn there was a page like this before, but was wondering why it's gone now. StarFox 19:57, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

I just cleared out a bunch of examples that did not fit the page's description - not a single one was for a long overdescriptive name! [edit] Overlap between Overdescriptive nouns and Nondescript nouns?

Is that even possible? Because "As Seen on TV Low-Fat Cooking Device" is also a non-descript noun, considering it is just as descriptive as "That Paintball Place Down the Street", except the latter is one word shorter. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 05:16, 3 August 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Strong Bad's Strong Badian Pizza

Maybe The Cheat was going to make this longer, but I'm not sure it fits among the other examples here. Just because Strong Bad thinks it's too long (Clanky) doesn't mean it's overdescriptive. Thoughts? --Jay (Talk) 05:06, 24 November 2018 (UTC)

It's long, but not necessarily overdescriptive. Strong Bad is the owner, Strong Badia is the place, and pizza is the food, so none of it is unnecessary. It's like if there was restaurant called, say, Homestar's American Burgers. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 05:29, 24 November 2018 (UTC)
