Is it worth pointing out that you can show only part of the animation by scrolling over 'Email' quickly? You can do that in many cases on Main Pages. For instance, if you scroll over 'Email' quickly on Main Page 18, The Wheelchair will not appear, whereas with 'Downloads', Eh! Steve will come out regardless of how fast you scroll. -- Mithent 04:45, 17 Oct 2004 (MST)

It's always been a rule of thumb that "Flash defects" or "Flash bugs" shouldn't really be mentioned. For example, if one loads an email in their browser as a .swf file, and then proceeds to right click at the end to advance to the first easter egg... we don't record that. There's a few other examples in the third answer on the Wiki FAQ too. I was in a good mood when I wrote that one. But yeah, I think you get the idea. -- Tom 09:21, 17 Oct 2004 (MST)
  • Another interesting fact is that if you hold the email button, and then move the mouse to the games button, the pile of snow will stay put, but homestar will pop out from behind it when the snowball hits. It's interesting, but it could be considered a "flash bug" as above. --207.118.101.198 21:50, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)
also, if you scroll over email guickly, his voice is still muffled!--SBadiaRula

So wait... are we sure that the stick being decorated is a referance to peanuts? I can see why someone would say that, but I'm not sure if its true enough to be considered a fun fact. — talk Bubsty edits 03:40, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

It's a reference to the wilted, 2' tall Christmas tree Charlie Brown gets.

[edit] Fun Facts Removal

I removed the part of Homestar's voice being muffled after holding down the mouse button because it's a Flash artifact, and we have Main Page Glitches for that. Also, the other fact was also not necessary. Retromaniac 04:27, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
