::Yeah, but "Wide Load" is a joke (a cruel one perhaps) that targets overweight people.  It says WIDE LOADING because Kid Speedy is overweight, hence the joke applies to him.  It is not a reference to the Simpsons, IMO... just because they both use the same type of joke.  It is just a reference to that type of joke.  Does that make sense?  --{{User:Bleed0range/sig}} 23:36, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

One of the background music tracks sounds exactly like the beginning of a 12 Stones song, either "Shadows" or "3 Leaf Loser," I don't remember. Can someone help me figure this out? If you heard it you'd understand, there is absolutely '''no''' mistaking it. And 12 Stones is a really popular band (they're that rock band that appeared in that hit by Evanescence, remember?). Can't I just put up that it '''might''' have been inspired by that song when I figure out which song it was? {{User:Darth Katana X/sig}}

From a quick look at the decompiled [[Viidelectrix]] version, it looks like a cheat code seems to have been added. I have no idea how to activate it, but it mentions keypresses "k", "h" and "s" in the ActionScript for button 146.. --{{User:Venusy/Sig}} 08:19, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

-
:I saw that before, but I couldn't figure out what the keys were (the decompiler I used couldn't tell for some reason)... It seems it's "press k 10 times at the main screen to play as KoT", ditto for the others. It's been there since 1.NEW. {{User:Phlip/sig}} 08:23, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

-
Also fun, if you do all of the unlocks (10 k's, 10 s's, and 10 h's) you can play as Homestar Runner, and in multiplayer mode, race King of Town and Strong Sad.  Plus the last track is replaced with a specially themed Homestar Runner Track

Shouldn't anyone put in this cheat in the glitches section? Regarding [http://hrwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Kid_Speedy&curid=5096&diff=732559&oldid=732281&rcid=695071 this edit]. Interesting results on this one. First of all, [[:Image:Neb5.png|it is entirely possible to get NEB results with numbers other than 1]] '''''BUT''''' (a butt!) if you use the Greasemonkey script to jump ahead to the screen where the players are defined instead of going there normally, ''all'' online players are listed as "NEB1". So, long story short: NEB is a three-letter-plus-digit name and should not get a 1 appended in the possible name list and dropped to the four-character portion, but should we note that "NEB1" is the default in some way? --{{User:Jay/sig}} 07:17, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
