*I agree. This is definitely a running gag, one which could eventually reach the level of Strong Bad's typing with boxing gloves on (especially if we wrote in to ask if Homestar actually does wear pants). #Point7Q 15:06, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)

*I agree.  When first saw long pants, my first thought was what homestar said in Not the 100th Email!!!.  There was never a doubt in my mind that this was a running gag.  invisible robot fish

*Totally a running gag. Like, for real. ...I really can't think of anything else to say aside from that. --DorianGray

*If this gag was any more running, it'd be...er...um...<br />...pretend I said something witty. -GG Crono

In addition to the possibility of white tight pants,  or painted-on feet, shouldn't we mention the possibility (see his "long-pants" rant) that he's wearing perfectly normal long pants, but they're as invisible as his arms?  --Forgot my username on this site.

:Yeah, that could work, I guess. Maybe he does wear pants, they're just invisible, like his arms. MHarrington 20:50, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

General Pants?
I'm wondering if this article should be renamed "Pants" and include other references to pants (mostly Coach Z's).  If you take a look at Coach Z's page, there is a fairly long list of places where he's made a comment about pants, and I think that list should be moved to a separate page on that subject.  What do you all think? 17:14, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

-
:The combined page seems, I dunno, watered down somehow. References to Homestar's pants are quite different from references to pants in general. I think we should consider splitting this page into two pages, like how the related concepts Crap and Crapfully Yours each have a page. &mdash; It's dot com 03:55, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

-
::I think we should create an alternate reality in which this page is called Watered Down. Seriously though, I think Dot com's right here. The references to Homestar and the unresolved questions concerning his pants, or his lack thereof (Daisy Dukes aside) are really a different gag than Coach Z's rather disturbing references to his own pants. Coach Z's pants could probably fit with the other references, though. 03:59, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

-
:::I agree too. Homestar's pants are a real and true running gag and some fun speculation and debatable mystery. Coach Z's references are just because "pants" is a funny word and makes for amusing, somewhat random quotes. --DorianGray

-
:::(Edit Conflict) I was originally going to do it that way, but then it seemed like we'd have a case similar to Box, Box Computer and Cardboard Boxes. (These pages at least used to be separate, but basically on the same topic.) Still, I see your point on this one - perhaps tomorrow I'll go to the work of splitting these pages again. 04:03, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

-
::::I went ahead and took the first few steps of splitting the pages. &mdash; It's dot com 04:38, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

This proves it
in senior prom, homestar doesen't get pantsed, and so I think this proves that he isn't wearing pants.-Theforumveteran

:The joke seems to be that nothing visible happens to him, but he still thinks he has pants.  Therefore, whether we know he doesn't wear them or not, this gag still applies to him. 21:18, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

-
:I think that Homestar doesn't wear pants, but is for some reason sensitive about it. I don't know why, but I never did percieve Homestar as a guy with a particularily high IQ. -FaceCrap 01:11, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

::I think that H*R doesn't wear pants, but really high boots that cover up his undies.

Bottom 10
Shouldn't bottom 10 be in that page since Strong Bad pukes when Homestar does his buttdance?

When You Take Homestar's Clothes it shows shoes and you also gain white pants shouldn't this be in hereI15avaughn 20:05, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

-
: Yeah, probably. But the game just came out a few hours ago; people are still playing it! Keep your tight white pants on, for real. -- 19:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Oldest Appearence of Shoes
-
In the New Version of the In Search of the Yello Dello DVD, and I think in the old one as well, Homestar is seen with both toes and soles. Is this notable under the shoes section? --Jellote 20:00, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
