Official Anniversary of Hiatus

It's Tuesday, December 1, 2010. I am not looking forward to that day. Events For that day: Store: 2010 Calendars Matt Chapman announces the birth of his family's second very, very little girl. Rest In Peace, Free Country, USA.

Poker Night

Telltale games has announced a game called Poker Night at the Inventory among the playable characters is strong bad.

Main Page message?

It's gone!

Trogday Sale

Actually, it started yesterday, January 19th, but today was the first time it was linked to on the main site.

Yeah its a great prize for those who, still dident get the game. And that was one of me :3. Keep on.. keepeen.. it ..on because you keep it.. on... or off.. SIuper -X

SBCG4AP Mac voting

There is a poll for which telltale game you want for Mac. Shouldn't the update be there?

Re [1]: Where are we getting this from? The "Last Updated" date on the main pages says the 12th, and the Last-Modified time of newbutton.swf is "Fri, 12 Feb 2010 09:58:44 GMT" - still the 12th, Georgia time... --phlip TC 10:02, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Wait, never mind, read the wrong date... the real Last-Modified time is Thu, 11 Feb 2010 20:55:32 GMT. --phlip TC 10:03, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
I-i don't understand you.
Well, the SBCG4AP game has lost the poll. Maybe if the Chaps had done anything on the website in the last 4 months, they might have kept interest. I know its because of a baby, but is there a longer content gap on record?
1. It's not just because of a baby. There's obviously another reason, given how long this break has been. 2. No there isn't. RickTommy 21:34, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Eric Conveys an Emotion

I've known about these[2] pages[3] for a while, but I searched for them here, and never found any articles. I'd love to have a go at making my first article here at the Wiki, but I wanted to confirm that there should be a page for this, and that there isn't one here already. (24.107.111.127 04:12, 17 March 2010 (UTC))

We've already mentioned it on the appropriate Sightings page. --DorianGray 04:16, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

HSR Xeriouxly Forxe Release Date

  • While it is still technically still March 31st, it is April 1st for them East Coasters, which seems to be the release time they were aiming for, and I'm thinking this is going to end up being a one day thing anyways. So can we just fudge it by an hour or two and call it an April 1st update for posterity? Thunderbird 04:18, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
I forgot the east coast time when I put it up - it was about 8:30 for me on March 31. I guess that's 11:30 on the east coast, though... Hm. --Jay (Talk) 04:20, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
Labrador and Newfoundland then? Them maritime regions of Canada? :) Thunderbird 06:03, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
There are several instances where we are sticklers on the release date. Is this a special enough case? Whatever we do on the main page, I'd want the long-term stuff (H*R updates; article page) to have the correct info. — It's dot com 06:52, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
I think Template:whatsnew could be changed to "April 1, 2010". For people coming to this wiki in the next few days, this will help them to know that the toon was just a joke and is not a real change to the website's style. If they see "March 31" as the release date, they will probably think it means "early in the morning on March 31", which is too far away from an April Fool's joke, or the date will just not click as "the day before April Fool's Day". This will get them all angry that their favorite site is changing its entire look and format. Now, sure, this will probably not happen to most people, but it may confuse a few. Shine Sprite (complain) 02:51, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm on board with that. — It's dot com 03:27, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Main page and bar redesign and re-re-design

not-so-recently, the main page was redesigned to have Homestar looking more enthusiastic and a large, prominent button "Shop our store!" in the center. also, the bar under everything had store moved to the center and made red. more-recently-than-not-so-recently, the main page was changed back, and the "store" was un-reddened but remained in the center. (I'm not sure if it was there ing the first place. also: there is now a "subscribe" button. may have been introduced independently) None of this is on hrwiki's updates. Why? 05:29, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Isn't it right here? --DorianGray 05:31, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
You may also just be noticing the difference between what we note on the main page and what we note on H*R.com updates. We note everything we can on the updates page, but we only note major updates on the main page. — It's dot com 20:01, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

New Crossover with strong bad?

There was a telltale games trailer about a crossover game and among the characters was strong bad. I know it isnt a main page update but it is still important.

Updates should wait until 02 Sept, when there is more info on what TTG has in mind. wbwolf (t | ed) 15:32, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

9/07/10?

It says they updated the site on 7 September 2010. What did they actually update? -- ■■   PURPLE  WRENCH   ■■ 11:24, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

It was a store sale. RickTommy (edits) 11:37, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
That's odd; they've had, like, 5 sales since the last time they changed the date. -- ■■   PURPLE  WRENCH   ■■ 11:39, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
