::::First of all, during the discussion over at Talk:Tears, we never actually reached a concensus as to whether an article on Crying should be created, so I went ahead to see if it would work out. Secondly, according to HRWiki:Inclusion guidelines, page content relating to a possible running gag "needs at least three to four appearances in Homestar Runner toons or emails and must be significant in some way to the Homestar Runner world in contrast to the real world". As we can see, there are plenty of times characters have cried. Furthermore, whenever a character does cry, more often than not they do so in a completely over-the-top manner which rarely happens in the real world (especially with The Cheat and Homestar Runner). Such instances are highly notable, so it makes sense to create an article grouping all these breakdowns in one place. Besides, we have an article on Strong Bad smiling, something that happens pretty much every other week, so why not an article on the opposite end of the emotional spectrum? In short, keep. 19:02, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

::::: Well, since many instances are suppposed to be comical, I suppose we should keep it, as they seem intentional. --Jellote 09:59, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

A redo of tears?

Didn't we already delete a page about tears? I don't think this page should go, but I just felt like pointing it out. BBG 20:12, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, we did. Way back when, before we saved deleted articles' talk pages, even. --DorianGray 20:56, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't that mean it should be discussed? I personally think it doesn't happen in any way that's unique to the HR universe, but on the other hand, it might be useful to have a list of every time someone has cried, even if it's not a running gag per se. I wouldn't be upset to see it go, but i wouldn't be upset to see it stay either. I think what i'm trying to say is neutral. — Defender1031*Talk 21:24, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Just for reference, I restored the old discussion on Talk:Tears, so it can be used in relation to this discussion. --DorianGray 21:31, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
First of all, during the discussion over at Talk:Tears, we never actually reached a concensus as to whether an article on Crying should be created, so I went ahead to see if it would work out. – The Chort 19:02, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, since many instances are suppposed to be comical, I suppose we should keep it, as they seem intentional. --Jellote 09:59, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
