According to Strong Bad, a grumblecake is "a little cake... made with steam and sugar." They seem pretty popular, at least with Homestar and Strong Bad.

Strong Bad made a bet with Kevin Grumbles in Strong Bad Email "stupid stuff" in which if he could get Homestar to say something smart, Kevin would have to make him some. Unfortunately for the masked genius, the nefarious Kevin Grumbles had also signed a deal with Homestar, thus swindling Strong Bad out of the cakes and making him look stupid as well.

Cheatcakes are a popular brand of confectionary that has been stolen off the Grumblecake design and improved upon, adding yet more steam and sugar to the mix.

Strong Bad later recorded a hit solo about Grumblecakes in the email time capsule.
