Weekly scheduled chats
The channel is open 24 hours a day, but it's hard to find other people in there at random times. We hold a regularly scheduled chat each week where we discuss the latest Homestar Runner toons and whatever else catches our interest. IRC clients
An IRC client is a program you can use to connect to any IRC chat channel. Popular IRC clients include:
- ChatZilla (open source) — ChatZilla is an IRC client extension for most Mozilla-based browsers (Mozilla App Suite, Mozilla Firefox, etc).
- Gaim (open source) — Gaim can connect to multiple chat networks (including AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger). It also works on many different operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc).
- mIRC (commercial) — mIRC is one of the most popular IRC clients with a lot of great features.
- Trillian (commercial) — Trillian connects to multiple chat networks (including AIM, ICQ, IRC, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger). It has more features than Gaim, but only works in Windows.
