(edit conflict'd)Yup, if we don't already have an article for the concept of "toon/part of toon pretends to be older than it actually is" then this could be a useful page, but "Negative Time" isn't that indicative a name for that concept. I'm thinking about the difference between whether a cartoon is based on retroactive continuity, or if it's stylistically meant to look historical. That's where I ask if Cave Girl Squad and The Millionzoic Era count or not. -- 68.37.43.131 01:48, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Specific Scenes

Should there be a section for short scenes set in the past as well, even if the majority of the toon is set in the present-day? Or would that make the page too long? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:23, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

This is another oddity. We could mention all the scenes that were mentioned in origins or couch patch, because those are definitely flashback toons. But I'm also thinking about Strong Bad Emails where examples are provided that don't take place all in the same day. hiding is one example, with events taking place months apart. Or the bet, which occurred long before the email was received. They're anecdotal, but I wouldn't call them flashbacks. -- 68.37.43.131 01:48, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
