[edit] Jumping the gun

He's only appeared once, as a one-off joke. In addition, when the idea of giving him his own page was discussed, that seemed to be the consensus. Then all of a sudden, a somewhat rude anonny shows up and demands a page, and we suddenly create a "Badly rushed and badly written" article for no reason? This does not make much sense to me. I would suggest removing this until and unless humie makes another appearance. Also note that F-Sack didn't get a page until he reappeared a couple of times too. — Defender1031*Talk 06:32, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

(I'm not that anonny). I think the humidibot had a big enough role to warrant a page. We have pages for other one off things (for example, the steaky steaky - I'm sure there are others). I don't think it's worthwhile to "wait until he has another appearance", as there's a good likelihood that he never will.76.19.199.237 13:27, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
There are plenty of other pseudocharacters who either only have one appearance as of now, or had pages back when they only had one appearance. Per precedent, I feel like this page more than qualifies as a pseudocharacter, considering he actually spoke. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 18:46, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
I suppose you're right. Now for the love of suudsu, would someone clean this page up? It's terribly worded and the caption still says "Filthy Sack", probably left over from a copy-paste! — Defender1031*Talk 19:04, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Alright, I cleaned it up. How we lookin', gals? — Defender1031*Talk 19:49, 18 November 2015 (UTC)
Smooth and smarmy. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 20:04, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Real Humidibot

I found the apparent "real" Humidibot. http://austinair.com/products/the-bedroom-machine/ Evidently an air purifier called "The Bedroom Machine". Though I'm not sure if this would qualify as trivia or just a coincidence. --Marsho 17:54, 30 December 2015 (UTC)

[edit] Humidibeth or Humidibette

I'd like to propose that there is an error in the transcription of Humidibot's message on Marzipan's answering machine, and Humidibot's girlfriend's name is not actually Humidibeth, but Humidibet (or Humidibette). Since Humidibot pronounces his own name with a lisp at the end, showing that there doesn't have to be a "th" at the end of her name, I think that Humidibet(te) is more likely. By making the names more similar it emphasizes more how they are just carbon copies of each other and that only the tiniest difference when their names are said aloud sets them apart.

There's already been some discussion on this, though "bette" is one that has not yet been suggested. — Defender1031*Talk 16:28, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

[edit] Are robots pseudocharacters?

Neither the Visor Robot or last year's champion count as pseudocharacters so is Humidbot more Dehumidifier or robot? Guybrush20X6 14:38, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

Good point. I'd say if he can walk and talk on his own, he's no pseudocharacter. Lira (talk) 15:15, 10 September 2017 (UTC)
