Maybe you are thinking of "comprendre". Here are all the conjugations of the French word "comprendre", and not one of them is "comprende". Comprende is Spanish. OptimisticFool 19:22, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I was about to point out that he pronounces it identically to the corresponding French word - only he doesn't. I forgot that the stupid verb is irregular and there shouldn't be a "D" in it. Okay, so leave it here. --Jay (Gobble) 19:30, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
