Appearances??
I knew when I started the page that someone might remove Drive-Thru from the list of appearances. However, neither Drive-Thru nor nightlife shows more evidence than the other that the "invisible" (as described by SB) restaurant was actually in the toon. In nightlife, a bag of food from the restaurant appeared, and in Drive-Thru, the drive-thru speaker from the restaurant appeared. So, at this point, which is more likely to be an "appearance" ? The bag of food could clearly be miles from the actual restaurant, and a mobile drive-thru speaker could also be miles from the actual restaurant. How can we list either as an appearance, or, alternatively, why wouldn't we list both? I hope I'm making some sense. Either we list both, or don't list either. That's my opinion. - Since both Drive-Thru and nightlife are linked in the opening paragraph, and since the restaurant doesn't strictly "appear" in either toon, I think we could do without the Appearances section altogether.

A Speaker Operator?
Regarding this edit: I had always assumed that the drive-thru whale acted all on its own. Yes, in a normal drive-through, someone would operate the speaker. But a drive-thru whale that pops out from the ground, flies into the sky and appears far away from any actual drive-through, it would not be stupid to assume that nobody actually operates it. I assume that it is a character by itself, not just a tool. This would also work much better with the nonsense the whale says: A crazy whale sounds like a better explanation than one of the well-known characters reading out nonsensical messages. Anywho, either way is speculation, and I suggest that we simply remove the line "and presumably someone who operates the drive-thru speaker." Loafing 02:50, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
