The Geddup Noise is the sound Strong Bad makes when he gets up from his computer, supposedly by the stool scraping against the carpet. After The Geddup Noise made it big overseas, he was replaced by the current sound, his cousin Chairscoot, somewhere around email 84.

It is very popular, and even inspired two cheap knockoffs: The King of Town's "The Standing Up Noise!!" and Strong Bad's "The Git Outcha Seat Sound." It was originally called "the get up noise" by Strong Bad in the bet.

Appearances

  • Email anything - Homestar makes the noise when he walks up to Compy.
  • Email the_process - We hear it when Strong Bad comes back from Bubs' and The Cheat's appearance.
  • Email the bet
  • Email lady...ing - It is heard when Strong Bad gets up to get ice cream.
  • Email geddup noise - The noise itself is the entire email's theme!
