The fast-food chain Arby's has been referenced multiple times in the Homestar Runner body of work. It is known for its roast beef sandwiches and curly fries.
Appearances
- Decemberween Sweet Cuppin' Cakes (DVD commentary) — Strong Bad tells Mike that he got an Arby's collector's cup from Homestar's house.
- Email yes, wrestling — One of the names of Strong Bad and Strong Mad's tag teams is "Rax and Arby: The Sanctum of Spiky Shoulder Pads". Rax is a second franchise of roast beef sandwiches.
- In an Easter egg, when The Announcer interviews Strong Mad as Rax, he says, "BEEF AND CHEDDAR! FIVE FOR FIVE!"
- Doomy Tales of the Macabre — As The King of Town is lowered into a stew of mutton, he protests that he thought that the toon was about "tales of the McArby". This is a portmanteau of Arby's and another fast food franchise, McDonald's.
