$11.01 is the price of all action figures in the Homestar Runner universe, regardless of their size or quality.

The reason for this, as Mike reveals in the DVD commentary for flag day, is because Matt's birthday is November 1st (11/01).

It may also be a reference to how many items are sold at $9.99.
