Rom Cumberdale is the person the first of The Three Keepers of Trogdor will turn Rather Dashing into if you get his question wrong. He is a kid from fourth grade who that keeper hated. He was a big loser and he smelled bad. If Rather Dashing changes into him, there won't be any way for him to beat Trogdor, so you'll get a game over.
