Trogdor

Trogdor is an S-shaped wingaling dragon with a beefy arm whose sole purpose in life is to burninate the countryside, peasants, and their thatch-roofed cottages. Trogdor sprung from the wild imagination of Strong Bad in the email "dragon", and has since appeared in several games, becoming one of the most well known inside jokes on the entire site.

• interview - Trogdor smites the Kerrek, and all is laid to burnination.
• Arcade Game - The guys are playing the TROGDOR! arcade game in the basement.
• TROGDOR! - The Trogdor game.
• sibbie - Strong Bad complains about people asking him to do all kinds of things, one of which is "Send Trogdor over to my house."
• theme park - A ride in the theme park is called "The Bowels of Trogdor".
• cheatday - One of the e-mails that The Cheat answers, reads "make more trogdor pleasepleaseplease".
• Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits - One of the songs on the CD is an extended version of the original Trogdor song.
• Decemberween Kids' Book - As a graffiti drawing in an easter egg.
• Peasant's Quest Preview - In the preview of the second game featuring Trogdor.
• Peasant's Quest - The second game featuring Trogdor.
• Snow Globe - Inside a snow globe, with a special speaking message at the end.

Fun Facts

• A reference is made to Trogdor in the series finale (#722, "Chosen") of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In the scene, several characters are in a roleplaying gaming session and one of the players is confronted with a situation that begins, "You go through the door and are confronted by Trogdor the Burninator."

• Trogdor was elected as a hall representative at the University of South Carolina. However, Trogdor stepped down from the position at his first meeting.

• There is also a possible reference to Trogdor in "Custom Robo"(Japanese subtitle "Battle Evolution") a video game for the Nintendo GameCube. In Story Mode, on Day 3, one of the (incorrect) choices for Question #7 of the first license exam happens to be "Parts Burninator."

• Burninator also could be a reference to a 3 part movie series called Terminator.

• A very small video game-creating company picked Trogdor as their "Wyvern of the Week" on January 3rd, 2005. See the Wyvern of the Week page here.
