:As far as I know, this template ''does'' conform to wiki standards. The problem with the changes you cited is that the template is used in the middle of a sentence, as opposed to a list like {{p|l=http://hrwiki.org/w/index.php?title=Pie&diff=794790&oldid=790003 most instances}}. I personally find "in a @StrongBadActual Tweet posted on November 18, 2016" to flow better than "in a @StrongBadActual Tweet (18 Nov 2016)". However, I am also aware that there are many advantages to using existing templates wherever possible, so I wouldn't be opposed to making it the standard to use this template mid-sentence. In fact, I could even add an extra parameter to automatically change the formatting depending on where the template is used, if necessary. {{User:Gfdgsgxgzgdrc/sig‎}} 23:11, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit] Template expansion

With regards to these two changes, should we update the template to better conform to wiki standards? If so, how? Is there an explicit wording that's required as per the standards? (I haven't read through them to check at this point.) --Stux 13:53, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

As far as I know, this template does conform to wiki standards. The problem with the changes you cited is that the template is used in the middle of a sentence, as opposed to a list like most instances. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 23:11, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
