Silhouettes are the image of a person, object, or scene as a solid color, usually black. In the Homestar Runner universe, silhouetted characters are usually seen at night, presumably due to backlighting caused by moonlight. They are commonly used in all the Halloween teasers in order to hint at the costumes that the main characters are wearing.
Permanently Silhouetted Characters
These characters are only seen silhouetted.
Notable Appearances
- Dangeresque 3 — In a monolouge by Perducci, a silhouette of Killingyouguy is down, playing off the stereotypical tease of the main antagonist's plan to stop the protagonist. It is later revealed in the post-credits scenes that The Cheat had simply painted Strong Mad using black paint in order to create a silhouette.
- Pumpkin Carve-nival — Many of the decorated pumpkins have carvings of shapes, such as Pom Pom's having a silhouette of a woman carved onto his pumpkin.
