The legend of fhqwhgads began with "i love you," where Strong Bad answered an email that seemed to contain the I Love You virus. The email ended in an unintelligible stream of text: "fhqwhgadshgnsdhjsdbkhsdabkfabkveybvf." Strong Bad interpreted this as the sender's name and shortened it to "fhqwhgads."
Later, he wrote a song and The Cheat created a music video about fhqwhgads, "Everybody to the Limit". In the video, fhqwhgads is represented as the dragon from the Atari game "Adventure" or possibly as a wiffleball, a plastic ball with holes in it.
Strong Bad gives Homestar Runner, Coach Z and Strong Mad a lesson in pronouncing fhqwhgads in an easter egg at the end of the Strong Bad Email "sibbie." The correct pronunciation is fuh-HOO-gwah-gahds.
In Main Page 22, it is said in a robot voice by the Biscuit Dough Hands Man pop-ups. This robot voice is from the song.
