Isn't it a parody to Head-On's slogan? Also, isn't the fact that it is a "throat-iforgotwhatitiwassomethingrelatedrtoclogged" is similar to the fact that powdered drinks just taste horrible and clog throats if taken dry, or something?--Darkangel 07:25, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Art style?

The characters are all drawn in much older styles, rather than their current ones. Is this worth mentioning?

It is dated "Copyright 2001" at the beginning, and meant to take place before some kinda robot, so the old art style would fit.

Homestar's Voice

It seems to me that after Homestar's voice clears up, it's changed from his old voice to his modern one, suggesting that the content of the Melonade Throat Closers packet is responsible for that change. Or am I just crazy?

Tandy email count

While there were 38 sbemail cartoons that had emails answered on the Tandy, spring cleaning featured five emails checked, which if counted individually, puts the email count at 43 (37 before it blew up in gimmicks, though).

butt1 - and1

The article currently lists "Butt1" as a reference to the b-ball apparel company "AND1". The reference seems a little tenuous to me. It seems to me that the only similarity is that they're both ___1 words. It could just as easily be a reference to Pier 1. I'm not to familiar with the AND1 company; is their logo or anything else similar to the Butt1 drink? Any comments? - Del Taco? 13:56, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

It might be seen as a play on words, using the homophones "but" and "butt".

I don't think it's a reference to "and1" or "Pier One" or any other one... it's a play on the earlier mention of there being "BUT ONE flavor" of melonade.

oh yea.. "but one flavor" makes much more sense. Though i get the "but1/and1" connection with them both being conjunctions, i think "but one flavor" makes more sense. - Del Taco? 19:18, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Super Golden Crisp jingle

A drinking stretch

It's really a stretch, so I did add it to the article, but in April 2003 (a month after March...) Homestar order 3 cool drinks for three cool guys. He never ends up drinking it, but he talked about them. Retcon? — Elcool ^(talk)_(contribs) 20:34, 4 May 2009 (UTC)

Thats Good Stuff

Wasn't this phrase used for the email Enviornment? When Strong Bad watered Marzipans plants with Cigarette Butts, the coughed then said "Oh... thats good stuff!" Do you think this is an inside refrence?

Okay, this is really bugging me.

I added it in the remark's section, but this hremail opened up a huge plot hole. Strong Bad was surprised when he discovered hremails in email thunder, but why? If he had already seen them in progress here, and in fact was convinced to start his email show because of this, wouldn't he remember his own email show's beginning? Strong Bad's technical domain

• Strong Bad is unfamiliar with net jargon such as "email", "internet", "www", "hyperlinks", "AOL keywords", but understands and uses "domain" correctly.

I removed this because it seems to me he's only echoing homestar and there's no implication he knows what it means, but it got put back because apparently someone thinks "the context of the phrase implies understanding. He didn't just 'echo' Homestar, but expresses competence at performing a complex task for a complete noob. think linguistically!". Rather than revert warring, i'm bringing it up here, because even though he's ACTING confident he'll be able to do it, it seems like he's doing just that, acting. It fits his personality.
