I had to explain this, but I didn't want to reopen discussion. The reason I thought the Protest picture was suitable for Strong Badia the Free was because the characters seem to spend more time protesting than battling.

Testing — something — that happened on — another Wiki. — Might just be a — poorly-thought-out "feature" — of that Wiki — but I want to — be sure. So yeah. —{{User:Jay/sig}} 18:08, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

::When posting on another Wiki, I'd noticed that whenever I posted on a page wish the mdash code on the page, it transformed it into an actual em dash rather than keeping the code. On this Wiki, people have been known to have inadvertently downloaded spyware that made similar "fixes", which has been known to break pages. I was testing to see if I could post on this Wiki without mdashes being affected — which seems to be the case.

::One possibility is that I picked up malware specific to ''that'' Wiki, not this one. The alternative to malware is that the Wiki itself, for whatever bizarre reason, keeps modifying the mdash code into em dashes when someone edits (as the H*R Wiki does not). --{{User:Jay/sig}} 18:48, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

:::That seems like a very odd thing for malware to do... but i've never understood why people make it in the first place. {{User:DeFender1031/sig}} 19:04, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

::::I haven't seen it lately, certainly not since you became a major editor, but we ''have'' had problems with this in the past. <strike>In retrospect, the problem in question could also have been caused by that Wiki's really wonky and not-exactly-helpful "Preview" option (ours is ''far'' better).</strike> And that's not it. --{{User:Jay/sig}} 19:22, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
