I reworded the fact to state what is actually notable: namely, that it's not a letter of some kind, and there's an attachment. (Also, before you say [[virus]], there was a "Strong ba" in that one.) — [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 03:01, 15 September 2007 (UTC) | I reworded the fact to state what is actually notable: namely, that it's not a letter of some kind, and there's an attachment. + | My internet was lagging up today while I viewed this e-mail, and I noted something interesting: instead of waiting for the entire email to load at the Loading screen, it played up until Strong Bad said "Homestar hair...", and paused at "downloading" while the Hairstyle Runner was "downloaded" to the Tandy. Could this be worth noting somewhere, since back when this e-mail was released, broadband access wasn't as widespread? Or is it just a flash glitch and not really worth mentioning? |

After The Paper Easter egg?
Am I right in thinking that Strong Bad's "my hit points are inexcusable" line is an Easter Egg, since he says it after the paper comes down? (I posted something else of this nature on the i rule discussion page.) --Upsilon
Well, in other eggs where you wait after the paper you usually wait 10-15 seconds. But, in this you only wait like 4 seconds, so I'd say no.--ninja pirate 16:03, 1 Nov 2004 (MST)
No, you're right. It ain't clickable, so it ain't an Egg. --that guy
Tape-leg is worse??
It says on the tape-leg page:
"Generally considered the worst Strong Bad Email"
But isn't this Email Worse?? I would say so... Atleast tape-leg has SOME jokes in it.
- On the forum, this is considered the worse e-mail ever. HOORAY! --Color Printer 13:17, 13 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- But this one is cut some slack for being one of the first ones. Tape-Leg is infamous on both the fanbase and official site for being horrible. - Joshua 14:11, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
- I think it's like Plan 9 from Outer Space. It's so bad it's great. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:17, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
- The opinion of what emails are best/worst/not so bad varies so greatly that a knowledge base can't post the general opinion unless the authors decide... which they apparently did. - Joshua 14:59, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

I think the only reason the beginning ones sucked was because they were new at it. Think of it this way: if TBC went back and redid all the first/bad/maybe Tandy emails, they'd be twice as funny. SaltyTalk! 14:50, 17 December 2005 (UTC)
- Actually this email isn't an email- it's an advertisment, but a don't like this one. I think that it is worse. Sbdisciples 18:53, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Y'all got problems. I like tape-leg. I agree, though, that the basics is not even remotely funny. --~That Guy Over There (

What is this fun fact saying? The email has "Homestar Hair" written at the top of it. Even if it was stated that Strong Bad didn't actually type anything in reply to the email, the fact would still be false - he didn't type a reply to sb_email 22 either. --~That Guy Over There () 05:13, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think this is false. The content of the email was "Homestar Hair" and an attachment. --DorianGray 05:22, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's true. It means there wasn't any text in the actual body of the email. Maybe it should be reworded. Hagurumon 05:24, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- But there was text in the body of the email. It said "Homestar Hair". That's not the subject line, or anything like that... Strong Bad's email system didn't start showing subject lines 'till he got the Lappy. --phlip TC 05:28, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- I always assumed that that's just his email client telling him the attachment's filename. Hagurumon 05:29, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it is. With TEXT. --~That Guy Over There (
