Strumstar Hammer

Strumstar Hammer is a revised version of the Original Book, made by Strong Bad in the email "kids' book." Its name comes from the page title of all the pages.

The Story

File:Strumstar Hammer pg1.png	Everybody loves throws shot-puts at The Homestar Runner. He is a terrific athlete bleeding pretty bad.	Shot puts have been drawn around Homestar, with a few embedded in his skin with blood surrounding. Scratches have been drawn on his face and shirt.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg2.png	One day his friend, Pom-Pom, asked him to enter the Strongest Man in the World Contest. some kind of eyeless fish-beast. He said okay.	A large snakelike creature has been drawn behind Homestar, so that he appears to be standing in its mouth.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg3.png	The Homestar Runner agr peed, and the two trained for days and days to become the strongest men in the world. wandered into a nest of flying cars.	A puddle of liquid has been drawn beneath Homestar's right leg, and the dumbell Homestar had lifted has been edited into an old-fashioned automobile. Pom Pom's dumbells are now sportscars, with the text "brreeeow!" and "vroom!" next to them.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg4.jpg	On the way to the contest, another competitor, Mr. Supreme aka Strong Bad, made fun milks meat of them. "I'm the very strongest! You guys are not very strong!"	Strong Bad is now beating Homestar with a bat. The text "WACK! WACK! WACK!" has been added above Homestar. Pom Pom has been scribbled over, and the words "milks meat" have been drawn over his left arm.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg5.jpg	The contestants: guys you don't see anymore: Mr. Bland; The Robot (last year's winner); Señor	A door with a plug, two springs, and various nuts and bolts coming out of it has been drawn on the Robot's chest.

File:Strumstar Hammer pg7.jpg	Upon their arrival, the rules were explained: The Grape Fairie starts everyone off with 20 grapes, then adds one at a time. Whoever holds the most grapes wins. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah	A washing machine has been drawn falling on the Announcer, and a missile is now flying towards the Grape Fairie.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg8.jpg	The Grape Fairie granted each of them turned the original line-up of the beatles into twenty grapes. watch out PETE BEST!!	The text "ZZRP!" has been drawn over the Grape Faerie, and a ray of energy is now shooting at the grapes.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg9.jpg	Mr. Bland did not hold up. HAHAHAHA!!! Lookit em get all squished!	Movement lines have been drawn over the pile of grapes.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg10.jpg	The Grape Fairie added another grape. silhouetted everybody and put tiny, inverse suns on top of them.	No change.

File:Strumstar Hammer pg12.jpg	Suddenly, the Robot shut down and dropped his grapes. Homestar knew something was up. the cheat got the world record in the 50 yard dash.	A "FINISH" banner has been drawn above The Cheat, who is breaking through a finish line.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg13.jpg	There were only three contestants green rectangles left. Another grape was added. Pom pom put his dork shirt on, Homestar his dump.	Pom Pom is now wearing a shirt with the word "dork" on it. Homestar's shirt now reads "dump".
File:Strumstar Hammer pg14.jpg	Homestar noticed that Strong Bad was getting some extra help. cool. "I will drop my grapes and uncover that give $1.38 to the CHEAT!	"Majesty" lines have been drawn around Strong Bad and The Cheat.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg15.jpg	The Homestar Runner yanked the cheat out from under the pile of grapes. "OH NO!" screamed Strong Bad. Strong Bad did a jig while holding all the grapes and The Cheat learned to fly.	The word "NO!" has been drawn over Homestar.
File:Strumstar Hammer pg16.jpg	Strong Bad was squished and Pom-Pom won. decided on his own free will to sleep underneath his pile of grapes. it was a restful sleep.	No change.
	Knowing that he could not have done it without The Homestar Runner's help, and Pom-Pom shared the trophy. lifted a comode.	The trophy has been edited to resemble a toilet, and a roll of toilet paper has been drawn off to its right.

Fun Facts

Trivia

• "Strong Bad did a jig while holding all the grapes and The Cheat learned to fly" was mentioned in a Quote of the Week, in which the quote is actually spoken by Strong Bad (from the DVD Easter egg for the email kids' book).

Remarks

• Strong Bad says that he made "milk's meat" out of Homestar and Pom-Pom, but he probably means "mince meat."

Goofs

• Strong Bad spells the word "comode"; the proper spelling is "commode."

Inside References

• In The House That Gave Sucky Treats, if you give Strong Bad the Marshmallow Bunny, he will show you his "People I gotta egg today list," which among other names contains the name "Ronnie Pudding."

Real-World References

• Strong Bad mentions the "original line-up of The Beatles," plus "Watch out PETE BEST!" Pete Best was the original drummer for The Beatles, replaced early on by Ringo Starr.
