That little Dickensian boy

Influential literature author Charles Dickens has been referenced several times in the Homestar Runner body of work.

A Holiday Greeting — Strong Sad says, "And God bless us every one", a quote from A Christmas Carol.
Pumpkin Carve-nival — Homsar calls himself "the Ghost of Christmas Past", a figure who originated in A Christmas Carol.
Email senior prom — Marzipan says, "Watch those hands, David Coppafeel!", referring to David Copperfield.
Let us give TANKS! — Oliver Smidgen is based on Oliver Twist. In the DVD commentary, The Brothers Chaps call Smidgen "that little Dickensian boy".
The Homestar Runner Gets Something Stuck In His Craw — Strong Bad calls Strong Sad the "Ghost of Christmas Suck".

- Under Strong Sad's rule, the house of the Brothers Strong is referred to as Bleak House, the name of a novel by Dickens.
- When Homestar Runner drafts himself into the Homestarmy, he refers to himself as an "Artful Draft Dodger", a reference to Oliver Twist character the Artful Dodger.
