The Popular Vote was the sidekick of the King of Town when he ruled Free Country, USA in the days before Decemberween was discovered. TPV had a secret past with an angel, but their relationship came to a tragic end. The Angel reminds The Popular Vote not to cry so that he will not rust. He is represented in A Decemberween Pageant as The Cheat wearing a sign which says "The Popular Vote"
