Real Lighter

Update: A quick search on eBay yields about 90 auctions for a BMW lighter currently. I wonder how many of these auctions would not even exist if it weren't for Homestar Runner? —THE PAPER ^PREEEOW 18:39, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I actually bought one of these after Drhaggis brought it to my attention in February. I got one of the ones that looks like Strong Bad's and my plan was to take a photo for this page. The thing is pretty much just a silver colored Zippo ripoff with a BMW logo glued on it. I still want to take a photo, but I'd have to find the thing first. Image Overuse?

Are all these images really nessecary? Why not something like this or this? I think that the debut and CGI images are enough for this page. - Joshua 00:30, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

The article is like this because back when it was started, there were only three appearances. I don't have a problem with the images. If you don't like the layout, we could probably but them in a nice gallery. -- Tom 01:53, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

I think that if it has a lot of appearances (like somewhere 1round 12 or 13) we should take some of the images away, just because it would be too long. I like it this way. --Salty^Talk! 01:34, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

Nah. If anything, The first appearance of the BMW lighter should be in there too. The BMW lighter is a specific object, unlike duct tape. -RadSkat3 18:56, 3 December 2005 (UTC)

To revisit this discussion, do we really need the entire gallery of pictures? I think a couple of the lighter, plus the two variations (say, like, 5 pics total) would be sufficient. Maybe one more of the unmarked SBG4AP lighter. Barring that, the captions on the current gallery are pretty lame. Are there any alternatives? -170.223.0.54 21:15, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

SAAB lighter

so, should homestar's lighter be a separate page? i think it should. i mean, the saab lighter might appear again, and when it does, we should be prepared. Seriously 00:09, 25 December 2005 (UTC)

I agree with Has Matt? I think Marzipan would have a VW lighter, and Pom Pom strikes me as a Volvo lighter-type. LOL--Jnelson09 00:22, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

Duplo Lighter

Lil' Strong Bad is shown at one time with a Duplo lighter. Duplo is a line of building blocks designed by the LEGO company for infants. Does anyone else feel this is worthy of mention? Sonichu

Both sides?
