Hanna-Barbera was an animation studio founded by William Hanna and Joe Barbera, who were originally known for the Tom & Jerry theatrical shorts produced for MGM. Hanna-Barbera productions were a staple of television animation from the 1960s until William Hanna's death in 2001. In keeping with The Brothers Chaps intention with creating Saturday morning cartoons, references to these shows occasionally appear in the toons.
