Because the Atari Dragon is also referred to as a duck in several other places. --DorianGray

Gentlemen, gentlemen. It's a joke. A joke-duck. Main Page 13 is aware that it's not a duck, and aware that many people sometimes think it's a duck. That's as far as the joke goes. There is no question that the dragon is not a duck. There is no question that Strong Bad calls it a duck.
