Picture for a year

I like that idea. I want to do that myself when I have kids. If you framed her approximately the same from day to day, when she's eighteen you could make a time-lapse video from all the still shots (assuming you're shooting digital). That would rock! Let's see, 365.25 pictures a year, 18 years... that's about 6,574 pictures. At 30 frames per second, that's about a 3-min-36-sec video. If that's too long, using just one picture from each week would yield a nice, 30-second video. — It's dot com 17:05, 6 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for your msg, the time lapse video is an awesome idea, hadn't even occured to me! I would love to take them once a day for years & years. I saw a photoblog where a guy took a pic of himself every day starting on his 30th birthday. He has been going for 4 years or something crazy like that. My concern is that I'm really good at starting projects, have a hard time completing them sometimes. But, with a new baby you take lotsa pics, so I'm hoping I can stay dedicated. Any thoughts? Maybe you could make it a specific part of your daily routine, like right when she gets up or before you go to work or something.
