Beat or wings?

Is the band singing "beat of cranberry sauce" or "wings of cranberry sauce"? It's hard to tell. Based on the song lyrics, one would think "wings" but based on the context of the song, the word "beat" would be more appropriate. I know song lyrics don't make sense at times.
