No, in Jibblies 2 you can see his eyes are barely opened. As far as I know this was the first time.

::It's a flaw in the Flash shape that has been around since the birth of the Lappy.  Only visible at certain scales and/or zoom levels.  As it happens, TBC chose to scale the shape in this sbemail in just such a way that the flaw is visible at 100%.  Also, when Strong Bad's husky head isn't in the way, the flaw can be seen on the other side of the monitor, too (still only visible at certain scales/zoom levels).  21:59, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

I didn't see 'kpdeia links or explanations for this word.  Is this a made up word or a type of novel?  If it a type of novel, it deserves a place in remarks. 03:38, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

A questionable goof
I was watching this with philip's GreaseMonkey script again and I just noticed something strange while viewing with show outside-the-frame action on. When it zooms in to SB saying "We can't go wrong" (frames 1231-1250) right before he tells The Cheat to saw a hole in the floor, his arms are not there. We should be able to see a little bit of his arms, gloves, and the nose of The Cheat, but the blurry background is apparently in front of those pieces. I can understand why the exclusion of The Cheat's nose, but this also covered SB's gloves and arms. Is this worthy of a mention or is should we remain silent on this leaving people none-the-wiser (although I just spilled the beans already :) ). 15:44, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

-
:You weren't quite specific enough. Is this "goof" only outside the border? Cause if so, it's not a goof. 15:46, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

-
::Sorry. Inside the border we SHOULD see SB's arms and gloves, but we don't because they're covered by the blurry background. You wouldn't notice this at all unless you were looking behind the border, however. 15:55, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

-
:::Ah, I see what you mean. The arm is in the frame, it's even animated, but the background covers it, and the only way to tell is seeing it from outside the frame... interesting... I would have no problem seeing this documented on the page, even though it's not a traditional goof. Maybe under remarks? 16:01, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

-
::::That will work. This is what I came up with to say:

-
::::*During Strong Bad's close-up in his living room, his right hand is animated in the flash, but is obscured by the layer that the blurry background occupies. This can only be observed by viewing below the flash's border.

-
::::Probably needs to be reworded, though. Sounds a little clunky to me. 16:11, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Aren't these supposed to be "Fun" Facts?
-

-
*Strong Bad commits a common grammatical error by saying, "Like the other day. Me and The Cheat—" The phrase should be "The Cheat and I." Interestingly, he gets it right later in the email.

-

-
Am I crazy for thinking that common grammatical errors do not warrant a remark? 07:01, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

-
:I'm a grammar nutter, so you may want to take what I say with a grain of salt. Anyway, I think cases where Strong Bad himself makes grammatical errors are especially noteworthy because he's such a stickler about others' grammar. So I'm in favour of retaining this. Incidentally, the word "fun" in "Fun Facts" is really just for alliteration; it would probably be more accurate to call them "Notable Facts". In case that was a point of contention here. 07:04, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

-
::I don't literally mean that I think they should be "fun." What I'm contending is that a grammatical error this minor doesn't warrant a Remark. However, seeing as how we're the only two debating it, I suppose it doesn't warrant deletion at this point. 08:17, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

-
:::I suppose it's a matter of opinion how big an error it is. I consider it a major mistake by an educated speaker of the language. To back up Heimstern's point, because Strong Bad points out all the errors in the emails sent to him, we have an entire article devoted to pointing out Strong Bad's errors. Fair is fair. — It's dot com 17:12, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
