Yes, "write" seems to be a bit cut off. Can I or someone put that as a glitch? --Addict 2006 16:12, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

-That's a stretch, especially since I'd never heard of that when I wrote the email.

:Did someone mention Banjo clown hand puppets? But no, given the mention of "horns" right next to the emoticon, I think that the corna is a safe assumption, as opposed to a tongue-in-cheek website that's making reference to the corna anyways. 14:50, 19 September 2007 (UTC)

:No, it's certainly a real thing, a real indication of someone strutting.  Quoting the following isn't real...proof or basis, like...a clown...playing a banjo, but it's a real thing.

I tried to think of something that scene referenced, and the closest thing I could think of was that Cosby Show doccumentary; they explain that when the actress who played Cleo was pregnant she had to hide behind stuff like paper bags or giant teddy bears while filming. :I don't know about pretending that a character was present and hidden. The episode of Dick Van Dyke where Laura got stuck in the bathtub does come to mind, but as far as I know that was a bonafide plot device, not just a workaround. But mainly the whole "creative ways to write him into stories" sequence made me think of Suzanne Somers on Three's Company. When her outrageous salary demands for the 1980 season weren't met, she went on strike. For the rest of the season, she wouldn't attend the usual tapings on set. The producers wouldn't fire her until the next season, so her character "moved away" but still appeared one minute per episode, in a phone conversation with another character. The "you amateurs" bad blood was also present, but in the other direction: John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt were furious over this stunt and refused to speak to her. --TheNicestGuy 15:32, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Is Bubs' mention of not having thumbs really a reference to lack of visible appendages? He is openly saying he does not have them, and has not, in my memory, been involved in any instances of manipulation that would specifically require thumbs. If it were about invisible fingers I could maybe see a reference. Perhaps Bubs just has stumps that can manipulate objects, much like The Cheat, who receives no such referential treatment

:Bubs's shotgun. He had to have fingers to use it, right? Same with installing the new paper, taping up the VCR in the old e-mail 12:00, and more.--CoachG 16:12, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

Powered by The Cheat music?
The music you hear as Original Bubs walks away sounds something related to Powered-by-The-Cheat cartoons. I was considering making this bit rewritten as follows:

-
{Original Bubs walks away as Powered-by-The-Cheat-esque music is playing. ......}

-
I've added ellipses just to save some space for anymore headlines/replies.
