When Homestar says "Do you ''has'' what it takes...?" during his little recruitment speech (with particular emphasis on the "has"), I'd always thought that that was a Yellow Dellow reference.  At one point in The Yellow Dellow, Homestar says "I think I has the solution!"  This incorrect choice of words is mentioned by Strong Sad in the DVD commentary. In the commentary, Matt mentions that one of the commando names they came up with (but never used) was "Little Albert".
