::::::I agree with "Web Video Sightings". I've noticed confusion on whether YouTube videos should be listed under "Website" or "Other", and feel like monopolizing with "YouTube Video sightings" is too specific. -- 03:12, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

:::::::I'm going to throw a (small) wrench at things and suggest "Social Media Sightings". The reason being that it took me a bit to find the "Twitter" sightings in the "Other" page. And "Youtube" (and other video sites) sort of count as social media. All that said, I actually don't like the suggestion itself as much since the relationship is tenuous and I don't see other strong social media sites like Twitter on the list (from a quick check, except maybe Omegle or and Reddit! But those entries are short) yet video sites like TED are clearly web video sites. Then again, there's probably other sites I've missed that could go in either bucket. --Stux 08:54, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

::::::::Social Media could work but we'd need pretty strict or clear guidelines for inclusion (something like "from official verified business/personality account, not just paid-for-twitter-blue") because otherwise we'll get "my friend's Discord channel has a Strong Bad emote" or "@dave1253442 tweeted 'watching strongbad' yesterday to his three followers" or "if you search tumblr for Homestar you'll find a lot of drawings". -- 17:31, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

::::::::I'm gonna throw an agree into Web Video Sightings as I've spotted a few quite large YouTubers make Homestar References but feel we need something much tidier than the current YouTube section before adding anything to it and making it messier. ::::::::We definitely need some kind of criteria for YouTube videos. Most sightings in that section are from channels with less than 1000 subscribers and videos with less than 1000 views. AVGN did a review of wrestling games where he remarked that The Strong Bads were "strongly bad". Wolf O'Donnel 05:01, 13 February 2024 (UTC)

: And? Strong Bad was named for that very game, and that line sounds like the AVGN's sense of humor. Without something more concrete, I don't believe it was a Homestar reference. -- 06:16, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
