Perhaps when you update the quote you could make it a link to the source of that quote. Because whenever I see the quote I can never remember where it's from, and even with this site it takes a while to find out.

:If you click on Quote of the Week on this page or the home page, it takes you to a page which provides exactly that information. 15:43, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

::Yeah, I know, but that's two clicks. If the quote itself actually linked to its source, that would be one click: that's half as many clicks! Hence, productivity would be doubled.

I've noticed an inconsistency in how we date updates that are released on one day, but the h*r.com main page displays another. Once Qermaq changed coloring to Sunday (), I could have sworn that there was precedent against that. What I found, as far as I know, is:

-

-
*Mon/Tue, Oct/Nov 31/1: Update released at about 1:30 AM EST; main page says ??????. We log real time.

-
*Sun/Mon, January 8/9: Update released at about 11:00 PM EST Sunday; main page says Monday. We log real time.

-
*Mon/Tue, July 24/25: Update released at about 1:00 AM EDT Tuesday; main page says Monday. We log main page.

-
*Sun/Mon, October 22/23: Update released at about 11:00 PM EDT Sunday; main page says Monday. We log ???.

-

-
Again, I could have sworn there was more precedent to log what the main page with an invisi-comment noting it. Maybe there is additional incongruity beyond what I can find noted in the Updates 2006 code; it would involve looking through multiple articles' histories.

-
Additional & current discepancies notwithstanding, what should we do about updates like these in the future?

:I think we should use actual time here. If the update time is different, that's notable as Trivia. 05:26, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

::At this point, I think I'll go with that. I'll round out the documentation if nothing further arises. —BazookaJoe 05:53, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
