::Thanks for tagging those.  I wholesale copied the Talkheader template from Wikipedia.  In the process, it had these other templates layered in it.  In my tired idiocracy, I tried to build those as well.  It was becoming hopelessly complicated. At that point, I at least moved them into my userspace, though it's probably a lot simpler to just delete those in the first place.  I thought that perhaps a talkheader would be a nice improvement to the site.   I probably should have put in a request some where.  If that's the case, I'll keep that in mind for the future. :Sure. when putting "subst:" before a template, it will replace, or SUBSTitute, the template call for the actual code contained therein. For example, if i have a template named "example" that contains "This is a sample template", if i were to write "<nowiki>{{example}}</nowiki>" somewhere, then when i go to edit the page, it'll still say "<nowiki>{{example}}</nowiki>" in that spot on the edit page. If i wrote "<nowiki>{{subst:example}}</nowiki>" instead, it would instead have "This is a sample template" written. Outwardly, the pages would look identical, only in the code does it matter. :::Byte count shmyte count... roughly 50,000+12=roughly 50,000. That's not the issue. There was a [[HRWiki talk:Standards#(Don't Fear) The Redirect|discussion]] on it some time back. The biggest reason is if there's a link to something that redirects to a section on a larger page, but could be made its own page eventually, the link wouldn't need to be changed, the redirect would just be made into a full page and viola, now your page links where it's supposed to. (That doesn't really apply to "X" vs. "The X" but meh.) Other reasons include that it looks better in the page source without the pipe, and that if people click on a link to one thing, it makes sense to have a little notice at the top saying why they got another. (Also doesn't REALLY apply in the case of "X" vs. "The X", but i'm a stickler for consistency.) :Probably the super-awesome ascii art. That's a lot of information in a very small visual area... I know any time i scroll by it, it slows down for me as well. It's possible that your browser renders the entire page at once rather than just the section you're viewing, in which case, you probably have the whole page loaded, but it hasn't become visible yet, as the ascii-art takes a while to process given its complexity. Unless it's affecting other programs, don't worry too much about it. If it IS affecting other programs, please let me know, so i can remove it. ::::::Well actually, I don't remember feeling down about it this year until I decided to re-check who made a certain edit about Stinkoman in that page, so I guess we wouldn't be having this discussion if I hadn't bothered to return to this site.  I don't even remember why I did so anymore.  I don't know if what I did still needs explaining now that it got brought up again, but I really didn't see any need to say anything else about Onion Bubs.  Strong Bad made up a story about an onion with Bubs' face drawn on it becoming the new owner of the Concession Stand, then eventually he found a real onion with Bubs' face buried in Marzipan's garden.  I thought it seemed like enough evidence that he became real.

:The fact that it's not in the main namespace means it's not an article the wiki considered up to par with that which we aim to document. As such, it was moved out of the knowledge base, and into user space as a nice compilation of supposition. Since it's not up to par, and not part of the actual knowledge base, it's not something that's appropriate to link to from the rest of the knowledge base. Regarding the [[Twitter]] picture transcribing edit I made, it seems pretty obvious and logical to me. There is clearly something after the y, and it would either be a comma or a period. Since the next letter is lower case, it would have to be a comma (plus make sense). And the 'w' is also pretty obvious.

But I guess there is a very remote chance that I could be wrong, so I'll not raise protest to your revert.

:To be honest, looking at it closely, it does look like there should be another comma and i can imagine the rest of a w. It also feels like the next letter should be an "e". In fact, it's quite easy to imagine the whole sentence is intended to be "Ah, Compay, we meet again." However, none of that is clearly indicated in the picture, so it's best not to transcribe unless we're absolutely certain. Since the (thing we think is a) comma, the (thing we think is a) w, and the (thing I think is an) e are less present than they are absent, and each only has a sliver visible, we can't be absolutely certain, despite the fact that it makes sense. More to the point, we're only transcribing what's visible, and it makes sense to draw the (in fact, rather literal) line at the point where the majority of a letter is off the screen.

As for the elusive ellipses, there's no explicit rule for whether you capitalize after one except that it has to form an independent clause (I don't think clauses can be interjections like What? Though sentences can be) or if it's not independent, it would involve a de facto new sentence caused by the first sentence trailing off.
